Summary:
Provide logistics support and advice to ongoing operations and project execution including in the areas of Ground Transport, Aviation, Travel, Materials Transport and Freight.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and support the safety execution of logistics activities.
- Implement company standards, Logistics Best Practices (UBP) and expected procedures in the planning and execution of Logistics work.
- Support Supply Chain Logistics Manager to continuously improve logistics processes and execution.
- Maintain key documents and procedures for Logistics, with regular reviews.
- Administer and develop the selected logistics management software system. Ensure appropriate access control and the system is deployed and operated as intended. Monitor and maintain correct configuration of the system. Ensure accuracy of data and reporting from the system.
- In cooperation with Procurement efforts, act as primary interface with local Freight Forwarding activities and Customs Clearance.
- Manage and monitor assigned resources, track activities and associated expenditures as well as assist in planning and budget preparations.
- Manage assigned contracts, applying OIMS 8-1 practices and standards. This includes facilitating safety meetings, KPI’s, interface meetings and gap trackers. Understand and execute the logistics scopes of work effectively.
- Provide business line input in contracting activities. This includes writing scopes of work, technical evaluations where qualified to do so and supply input to bid award recommendations. Maintain contract documents.
- Where Logistics services are provided by partners, such as TOTAL, Eni or its contractors, act as the primary ExxonMobil logistics interface to ensure ExxonMobil requirements are understood, planned, and incorporated into the resource plans of partners. Monitor execution, cooperate to ensure sound performance and work to resolve issues as necessary.
- Where Logistics services are provided by contractors to ExxonMobil, ensure Logistics staff are interfacing with contractors to promote the delivery of services in accordance with contract scope & required standards. Cooperate to resolve issues and foster the deployment of best practices.
- Maintain Primary interface with ExxonMobil Aviation Services for the local Business Unit and development of the Local Area Supplement as required. In cooperation with SHE&E efforts, ensure that critical safeguards are healthy including but not limited to the development of the 5 year aviation Risk Assessment and associated safeguards.
- Facilitate the development of and maintain other required logistics-oriented safety programs.
