Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for:
• Port cranes (RTG, STS, mobile cranes).
• Cargo handling equipment (reach stackers, forklifts).
• Port infrastructure (berths, electrical systems, workshops).
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
• Manage and control the maintenance budget.
• Lead and develop local technical teams and coordinate external contractors.
• Implement and optimize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Monitor maintenance KPIs (downtime, MTBF, MTTR).
• Ensure compliance with international standards and company procedures.
• Support procurement of spare parts and inventory management.
• Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in maintenance management (port, mining, or heavy industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of port equipment and maintenance practices.
• Experience working in Africa or remote locations is a plus.
• Fluency in English (Portuguese is an advantage).
