The successful candidate will translate business priorities into effective campaigns, content, marketing materials, media engagement and digital communication. This is a mid-level role for a strong marketing professional who can generate ideas, independently coordinate projects and ensure high-quality delivery across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Campaigns
- Develop and coordinate integrated marketing and communications campaigns aligned with business development and sales objectives.
- Translate organisational priorities, projects and commercial opportunities into clear marketing initiatives.
- Prepare campaign concept, implementation plans, content calendars, budgets, timelines and performance indicators.
- Proactively identify opportunities to promote the organisation, its projects and impact.
- Coordinate campaign implementation across digital, print, media, events and stakeholder channels.
- Evaluate campaign results and recommend improvements based on performance data.
Content and Communications
- Develop and coordinate high-quality collateral and content for websites, social media, newsletters, brochures, presentations, press releases, articles, speeches and corporate publications.
- Draft, edit and review marketing and communication materials to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with the organisation’s brand.
- Develop corporate narratives, campaign messages and communication concepts for different audiences.
- Work with internal departments to identify stories, project updates, results and opportunities suitable for communication.
- Maintain an editorial and content calendar and ensure materials are delivered according to schedule.
Brand and Marketing Collateral
- Lead the development of brochures, company profiles, presentations, advertisements, banners, exhibition materials and other marketing collateral.
- Prepare creative briefs and coordinate designers, printers, photographers, videographers and other service providers.
- Ensure the correct and consistent application of the organisation’s visual identity.
- Review designs, layouts and production proofs before approval.
- Identify when existing materials need to be updated, redesigned or replaced.
Digital Presence
- Manage and continuously improve the organisation’s websites, social media platforms, email campaigns and other digital communication channels.
- Monitor online engagement, website traffic, campaign performance and audience growth.
- Use digital analytics to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure digital platforms are regularly updated and accurately reflect the organisation’s activities and positioning.
Media Relations
- Prepare press releases, media briefs, talking points and responses to media enquiries.
- Coordinate interviews, press visits, media events and publication schedules.
- Monitor media coverage and maintain an organised record of published content.
Events and Promotional Activities
- Coordinate the organisation’s presence, messaging, materials and promotional activities related to events.
- Work closely with the Sales team to ensure events support lead generation and business-development priorities.
Project and Supplier Coordination
- Manage marketing projects from concept through implementation and evaluation.
- Coordinate internal contributors, external agencies and service providers.
- Prepare scopes of work and technical requirements for marketing services.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, budgets and quality standards.
- Provide direction and supervision to the Sales & Marketing Assistant on assigned marketing activities.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business or a related field.
- At least four years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, media relations or brand management.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing campaigns.
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills in English and Portuguese.
- Experience managing websites, social media channels and digital campaigns.
- Experience developing brochures, presentations and corporate communication materials.
- Good understanding of branding, design processes, content development and print production.
- Experience working with media, suppliers, agencies, designers, photographers or videographers.
- Strong project-management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and move projects forward with limited supervision.
- Ability to convert business objectives into practical marketing activities.
- Good analytical skills and experience using marketing data to evaluate performance.
Knowledge of graphic-design tools, content-management systems, email-marketing tools, CRM platforms and digital analytics will be considered an advantage.
