Mechanical Technician – Mobile Equipment
Job Description
- Responsible for safety and discipline in the work area.
- Perform troubleshooting, modification, and control of automatic equipment
and other related equipment. - Ensure maximum operational availability of cranes through diagnostic work and repair methods.
- Repair and diagnostic methods and repair methods.
- Submit routine inspection and monitoring reports as required.
- Perform tasks independently when requested and report malfunctions and failures.
- Take on additional responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.
- Ensure that emergency work is monitored and inform the supervisor.
- Ensure that work practices comply with safety regulations and
procedures. - Ensure that all preventive (mechanical) maintenance is performed as defined in the system.
- Immediately respond to malfunctions reported by operations.
- Ensure that the work order contains accurate and up-to-date information
- Ensure that a work order is created (in coordination with the person responsible for planning) for all mechanical work carried out on the equipment
- Coordinate with the supervisor and engineers in case of purchase or request for material.
- Ensure that the facilities and all equipment are tidy and clean.
