OPERATIONS AND ADMIN MANAGER
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Management of Komatipoort depot, including operations, office and staff
- Coordinate operating activities between Komatipoort depot, trucking and Maputo Port
- Control of depot targets and objectives to ensure achievement
- Support the customer service delivery
- Liaise regular with Shippers/ Consignees/ Suppliers/ Customs Authorities, ensuring all processes are updated & in order.
- Responsible for the warehouse management
- Management of the cold store: temperature monitor & control, inventory management, workflow, compliance, safety, receiving & shipping, Contingencies plan.
- Active and visible HSSE leadership
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Experience in Operations and Management in warehouses, container terminal and citrus operations: 3 to 5 years
- Experience of working with citrus packing, unpacking, warehousing and transportation
- Education Level: Graduate/ bachelor’s degree
- Customer focused approach
- Sound understanding of port productivity measures and implications on tariffs
