Our client in Pemba is looking for Product Supportive Sales Representant to join their team for a job vacancy within the Mechanical Engineering Sector.

Responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain strategic customer relationships.
  2. Identify maintenance, replacement, and cost-saving solutions to support customer success.
  3. Promote and sell after-sales products and services, including parts, service solutions, and Caterpillar marketing initiatives.
  4. Record opportunities, customer interactions, inspections, and submit monthly forecasts/reports.
  5. Achieve sales and operational targets, meet budget goals, customer KPIs, and manage expenses effectively.

Requirements

  1. Technical qualification — Diesel/Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of Caterpillar experience.
  2. Educational background — Matric/Grade 12 (B.Tech or Diploma in Sales/Marketing preferred).
  3. Excellent communication and reporting abilities, both managerial and technical report writing.
  4. Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  5. Strong business and sales development skills – candidates must be residents in the area of the operation.
