CBE Southern Africa is looking for a Recovery Technician. The Technical professional would be responsible for ensuring the mechanical reliability and operational readiness of equipment within the Sort House Recovery facility. Ensures daily production targets are met in full compliance with SOPs and company policies, while performing preventive and corrective maintenance, resolving mechanical failures, and supporting continuous operational efficiency under the guidance of the Recovery Manager.
Funções
- Ensure all motive water circuits are mechanically sound and serviceable
- Ensure surge bins, chutes, pipes and hoses are serviceable
- Ensure all bearings are functional
- Ensure all conveyance systems are functional
- Ensure that all pumps are serviceable and operating optimally
- Assist in all daily serviceability evaluations
- Assist in the application of remedial actions within the sort house technical and peripheral equipment capability scope pertaining to the mechanical functionality
- Ensure that all tools are accounted for and serviceable
- Ensure that the mechanical store is orderly
- Keep the Recovery management appraised and updated as to the mechanical status of the facility
Requisitos
- Qualifications
- Must have solid electronics, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical Engineering or Trade
- Qualification or experience
- Must have sound knowledge of transfer, sizing and processing systems
- Must have a solid workable knowledge of Portuguese
- English knowledge is preferred;
