To lead and manage designated BuildIt stores within the Mozambique region, ensuring operational excellence and profitability. As an expatriate leader, you will be responsible for transferring international best practices to local teams, realizing BuildIt’s vision to be the preferred building supplier in the communities served.
Funções
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability within the local market;
- Team Development: Mentor and upskill local staff to build internal capacity and leadership;
- Operational Excellence: Enforce company policies and conduct store visits to ensure high standards;
- Inventory Control: Maintain stock integrity using K8 systems and minimize shrinkage;
- Supply Chain Planning: Optimize stock replenishment through accurate demand forecasting;
- Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to local regulations and implement robust asset protection;
Requisitos
- Education: Business Administration, Retail Management or relevant tertiary education, preferably a degree level;
- Retail Expertise: Strong background in retail operations, ideally within the building supply or hardware sector;
- Financial Management: Proven experience in budgeting, variance analysis, and profit optimization;
- Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Kerridge K8 or similar retail platforms;
- International Experience: Previous experience working abroad (preferred), with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new cultural and regulatory environments;
- Communication: Fluent in English, a willingness to learn basic Portuguese is highly advantageous for local integration;
