The Care International Mozambique is recruiting (1) Emergency Safety and Security Manager for Cabo Delgado Province, Mozambique
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
- Planning and Preparation;
- Procedures and Protocols;
- Crisis Management;
- Analysis and assessment;
- Staff Management & Capacity Building.
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant courses such as political science, international relations, risk management, and law enforcement.
- Note: Instead of a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 5 years related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience in humanitarian or corporate security, law enforcement, or military service.
- A minimum of five years of experience in managing security operations for humanitarian organizations in austere and/or complex emergencies.
- Proven capacity to mentor and coach national staff.
- Experience writing high-level security risk analysis and conflict analysis.
- At least three years of experience working for a humanitarian agency in a conflict setting, managing complex dynamics.
- Proven capacity to produce maps.
- 2-3 years of work experience in Mozambique and/or wider southern Africa locations.
- Experience working in remote management and with partners.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese languages (both speaking and writing).
