Our client in Maputo is looking for a Sales Representative to join their team for a job vacancy within the Agricultural (Tabacco) Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Visit retail outlets, wholesalers, and distributors in the assigned territory to promote company’s products and secure orders.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Identify new sales opportunities by prospecting potential clients and expanding market reach.
- Track daily sales activities, submit sales reports, and provide feedback on market trends and competitor activities to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Ensure proper product display and visibility at retail points; coordinate with customers to manage inventory levels.
- Adhere to sales targets, pricing policies, and company guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, tobacco, or retail sales.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills; fluency in Portuguese (local dialects a plus) and basic English.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
- Familiarity with the assigned territory and local retail landscape.
