Security Manager

The Security Manager leads all security operations, physical asset protection, and access control for the project. This role is responsible for establishing project security and evacuation protocols, managing personnel clearance and biometric registration, enforcing closed-camp policies, and ensuring full compliance with client security standards.

• – Security Documentation & Planning: Prepare and submit core security deliverables, including the Site Security Plan, Evacuation Plan, and Bus-In Bus-Out (BIBO) Management Plan;
• – Personnel Vetting & Access Control: Lead the security clearance process for all project personnel, overseeing document verification, system profiling (Da Vinci/Genetec), badge issuance, and mandatory security inductions;
• – Closed-Camp & Transit Security: Enforce strict closed-camp movement policies, manage security protocols and daily tracking for commuting BIBO local workers, and coordinate off-site travel clearances;
• – Site Protection & Asset Security: Oversee physical security operations, access barriers, and material protection protocols across the laydown yards, camp areas, and temporary construction zones;
• – CCS JV Liaison & Incident Management: Act as the primary security liaison to the client’s Security Department, participate in joint alignment meetings, ensure regulatory compliance, and direct site security incident responses;

• – Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field;
• – Experience Level: 5+ years of progressive security management experience, with at least 2 years in international Oil & Gas, LNG, or EPCC projects;
• – Technical Expertise: Proven experience drafting formal project Security Plans, managing emergency evacuation frameworks, and utilizing digital/biometric access control systems;
• – Regional Expertise: Security management experience in Africa (Mozambique or Cabo Delgado Province preferred), with strong familiarity operating under international security standards;
