Job Advert Summary

We are seeking a skilled Semi-Skilled Welder to join our team.

The ideal candidate will construct and repair steel and other metal components utiliSing a diverse range of welding techniques. You will be responsible for welding together metal components for various products including pipelines, automobiles, boilers, ships, aircraft, and mobile homes using electric arc-welding equipment. Additionally, you will connect cables from the welding unit to achieve specific amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse settings as directed by the Welding Specialist.

This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
Minimum Requirements
  • Required qualification: Welding or boiler making qualification at a trade institution, Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 / National Senior Certificate
  • Experience in a similar role: 5 years or more
