SENIOR QA/QC MATERIAL SPECIALIST – OIL & GAS
- PEMBA, MOZAMBIQUE
- ROTATION (BACK-TO-BACK)
- INTERNATIONAL OPERATOR ENVIRONMENT
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum or equivalent)
- 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, including at least 8 years as QA/QC Inspector
- Experience on operator or EPC projects (service-only background not prioritized)
- Proven experience in QA/QC of drilling and completion equipment: wellheads, liner hangers, packers, safety valves, etc.
- Ability to review and validate QA/QC documentation: MTC, inspection reports, MRB
- Practical knowledge and application of API standards, ISO QA/QC frameworks and client specifications
- Experience in welding and fabrication QA/QC: WPS/PQR review, welding qualification follow-up, fabrication inspections
- Experience in remote, site-based or high-pressure environments under operational constraints
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership of QA/QC compliance across site operations under client audit and operational pressure
- Ensure full traceability, conformity and integrity of critical equipment prior to installation and use
- Conduct and lead material and fabrication inspections in accordance with project and client standards
- Identify non-conformities and ensure effective closure with measurable corrective actions
- Act as key interface between engineering, procurement and operations to prevent quality-related delays
- Review and approve technical documentation and certification dossiers prior to field deployment
- Contribute directly to risk reduction (technical, operational and HSE) through QA/QC control
- Support offshore / subsea-related scopes where applicable
