Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of socioeconomic M&E frameworks, indicators and tools.
  • Assist in collecting, analyzing and reporting quantitative and qualitative data related to livelihoods, socioeconomic conditions, employment, stakeholder engagement, land, and other socioeconomic indicators, including travel to site as needed.
  • Support management of the M&E data management tool (e.g. Isometrix, NetBenefit, Smartsheet, etc).
  • Support data quality assurance tasks to ensure data is accurately recorded and maintained in databases.
  • Engage with the SeM team (Local Content, Community Affairs, Community Investment), CLOs, VLOs and other field teams, implementing partners and other stakeholders to support timely and accurate data collection.
  • Support data analysis and interpretation to generate insights for reporting and communication (internal and external).
  • Contribute to reporting, content development and communication products
  • Refer and contribute to dashboards and visualizations to communicate data findings effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with M&E and reporting requirements and project and lenders standards.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Typically, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as economics, statistics, social sciences, international development, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Experience with data collection and processing in the context of M&E or related transferable skill set (social research methodologies).
  • Experience in processing, analyzing and managing data for reporting, preferably in a socioeconomic or development context.
  •  Experience working in multicultural or multidisciplinary teams.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of data collection and processing best practices (research methodologies, data collection tools and techniques).
  • Good communication and writing skills, ability to contribute and develop high quality reports.
  • Proficiency in English preferred.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural work environment.
  • Ability to work in a positive team manner.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
