The Software Engineer Officer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support the Digital’s core business operations. This role focuses on building reliable, scalable, and secure applications, including internal systems, APIs, and customer-facing platforms, following modern software engineering practices.
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Laravel
- Implement, optimize, and query relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance
- Write clean, maintainable code following secure coding practices, conduct thorough testing and debugging, and utilize Git for version control in a Linux-based development environment.
Qualificações
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development
- • Strong experience with:
- – API development (REST, JSON, authentication mechanisms)
- – Microservices architecture and service-oriented design
- – Databases: relational (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases
- – Working with frameworks (Laravel, VueJs, Reac, NodeJs).
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including:
- – Version control systems (Git)
- – Testing and debugging methodologies
- – Secure coding practices
Habilidades e Experiência
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP or similar
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Familiarity with API documentation tools (OpenAPI / Swagger)
- Experience with working in Linux environments
- Creativity and ability to propose innovative technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
