Our client in Maputo is looking for a Sworn Translator (Chinese, English, Portuguese) to join their team for a job vacancy within the Automotive Sector.
Responsibilities
- Translate English/Chinese Automotive materials into Portuguese or vice versa, ensuring accuracy, fluency.
- Provide accurate and context-appropriate translation between English, Chinese, and Portuguese, both written and verbal.
- Support internal communication between departments involving Chinese and English-speaking staff.
- Translate HR, legal, technical, and operational documents as needed.
- Assist in meetings, trainings, and site visits as an interpreter.
- Ensure consistency in terminology and tone across all translated materials.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English, Chinese (Mandarin), and Portuguese (both written and spoken).
- At least 3 years of proven translation/interpreting experience.
- Strong intercultural communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Attention to detail and high level of confidentiality.
- Have translation experience in Automotive is preferred.
