Job Description

  • Support the NSE maintenance system by assisting with defect logging and providing help to crew members when needed.
  • Complete goods and services requisitions as required
  • Monitor the receipt of goods and services
  • Gather information on required spare parts and consumables and upload it to the procurement planner
  • Conduct regular reviews of the procurement planner to ensure orders remain on Schedule
  • Prepare technical requisitions related to APS and obtain the necessary approval from the department head
  • Collect all section training records, scan and send them to the HR department after review by the section head
  • Assist in the Control of Work (COW), ensuring that technicians have the required permits for the tasks performed
  • Request port access for all visitors/external providers
  • Assist the warehouse storekeeper in receiving spare parts
  • Review timesheets, obtain approval from the Port Engineer, and submit them to HR
  • Support senior team members in using Microsoft tools to perform analyses and evaluations.
  • All reports submitted on time and with accuracy
  • Document filing in accordance with Company procedures and standards
  • Maintain up-to-date statistical charts
  • Prepare and submit daily fuel reports to the Port Engineer and Technical Superintendent. Once reviewed and approved by the Department Head, these will be forwarded to MPDC
  • Send daily fuel reports received from vessels to MPDC
  • Submit monthly fuel-related reports as required by other departments
  • Assist the Port Engineer in monitoring all fuel bunkering operations on tugboats, ensuring full compliance with BU fuel control procedures, MPDC requirements, and international fuel handling standards
  • Ensure weekend fuel supply to vessels, with prior notification and approval from the Department Head
  • Conduct weekly reviews of tugboat logs to identify any discrepancies with Remaining on Board (ROB) figures
  • Monitor fuel consumption of company vehicles and submit a weekly report to the Operations Director
  • Prepare and submit daily fuel reports to the Client, following review and approval by both the Department Head and Operations Director
  • Vessels consistently maintained with adequate fuel levels for operations
  • Accurate and complete recording of all fuel supply and refueling activities
