The CBE Southern Africa is looking for a Terminal Engineer for one of his clients. The Terminal Engineer should ensure that all infrastructure operates smoothly and reliably through implementation of routine maintenance strategies in accordance with international standards and best industry practices. Also, should manage the implementation of engineering projects in the terminal.
Funções
- Oversee all terminal maintenance activities (Preventive, Predictive and Corrective)
- Ensure implementation of Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality standard in terminal equipment’s & Systems
- Where necessary liase/communicate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, CFM, CPMZ Oil terminals and other stakeholders, in matters related to maintenance, engineering and projects
- Propose CAPEX and other Budget requirements to the General Manager
Requisitos
- Fully aware of modern clean fuel oil storage systems, operations and maintenance, as well as best industry practice, international standards relating to Oil terminals and engineering: API, ASTM, NFPA, ISGOTT, ASME, ISO, NACE, etc, etc
- Able to make sound decisions on operational/technical matters
- Able to adequately plan and coordinate operational activities as per terminal requirement
- Through methodical/systematically approach able to solve complex terminal/engineering problems
- Good Communication Skills
- Good Managerial Skills
