British American TobaccoMozambique has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Marketing Representative
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Define the territory priorities and KPIs in line with the company objectives;
- Manage investment allocation across the territory;
- Drive the trade marketing and distribution fundamentals specifically: availability, product quality, visibility, and pricing;
- Develop and manage an effective distributor team structure through formal and informal monitoring and training;
- To take all reasonable measures to ensure adherence to BAT EHS guidelines as well as all local legislation relating to EHS.
- Conduct market research to analyse market and consumer trends
- Act as Back-Up for the Area/ Regional Manager in their absence and relief TMR on a need by need basis;
- Responsible/ assigned to territories of high complexity, competition and volume demand;
- Develop and/or support the implementation of Trade project
- Drive innovation in territory of responsibility and act as a change agent/ champion in territory of responsibility
What are we looking for?
- Ability to communicate and write in English well (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in, Marketing, Commerce or relevant field;
- Valid driver’s license, with a minimum of two (2) years driving experience, including motorcycle driver’s licenses (mandatory)
- A minimum of 2-3 years professional experience in Marketing;
- Excellent communication, selling, problem-solving, negotiation and influencing skills;
- Computer operating skills (good level of Microsoft Excel and MS Package)
- Self-starter who is flexible and has strong drive for learning and results;
