Candidates must meet the following mandatory minimum requirements:

Possess a Type B Trainer Pedagogical Training Certificate, issued or recognized by the Instituto Dom Bosco in Mozambique;

Have a minimum of six years of proven professional experience as a trainer in the relevant technical area;

Possess proven technical and practical experience in the relevant specialty;
-
Provide relevant technical and professional certificates for the respective area;
-
Have the ability to prepare training materials, deliver theoretical and practical training, and conduct competency assessments;
-
Be available to work on a rotation basis or to be based in Pemba/Afungi;
-
Have knowledge of technical English, preferably with the ability to deliver training in English;
-
Provide professional references and evidence of previously delivered training programmes.
For the ECITB areas, preference will be given to candidates who are already ECITB-approved trainers or assessors in the following disciplines:

ICE Level 2 and Level 3 – Scaffolding

ICE Level 2 and Level 3 – Electricity

ICE Level 2 and Level 3 – Pipe & Steel Fitting

ICE Level 2 and Level 3 – Rigging
-
ICE Level 2 and Level 3 – Welding

ICE Level 2 – Painting and Blasting

ICE Level 2 and Level 3 – Instrumentation

IHSP Advanced
A single candidate may be considered for more than one discipline, provided that they demonstrate the relevant experience, technical competence, and appropriate certifications for each area.
