CBE Southern Africa is looking for an VAT accountant, to provides basic VAT related advice and support to finance operations.ensuring businesses comply with complex indirect tax rules by managing VAT reporting, returns, reconciliations, and strategic advice on schemes, ensuring accurate tax collection and remittance at each supply chain stage, acting as a bridge between finance, sales, and tax authorities.

Funções

• Assist in gathering necessary backup support documentation for VAT reporting, request VAT invoice revisions and VAT invoice credits as necessary;
• Manage the preparation of complex / high volume VAT declarations from beginning to end, including data collection, preparation in accordance with the filing protocol, submission, payment;
• Ensure that VAT accounting accounts are correct and reconciled with the other relevant data, such as VAT declarations, P&L, and other filings Complete all VAT related accounting activities upon which VAT returns depend, including control checks of transaction data and review of supporting tax documentation to identify any errors or anomalies VAT computations and VAT compliance for our internal client;
• Perform VAT accounts reconciliation and VAT analysis Complete VAT related accounting activities upon which VAT returns depend, including control checks of transaction data and review of supporting tax documentation to identify any errors or anomalies To ensure that the Periodic VAT journals are uploaded to GL on a timely basis, and that a robust control environment exists around the Management
• Accounts VAT process;

Requisitos

• Strong Experience (5 Years Minimum) Practical Experience with Tax Authorities and all Taxes (IRPS, IRPC, VAT);
• Education, certification, and experience. OCAM License •Fluent in
• English and Portuguese (Mandatory);
• Education for VAT Accountant;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Education,
• Finance/Accounting,
• Management, Accountancy, Business;
• Course certificate and OCAM License;
