Role purpose

Own and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Public Enterprises & NGO’s portfolio, with a primary focus on aggressively driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving set targets across Public and NGO’s, Associations, and Embassies. Enforce a disciplined approach to building and maintaining strong, strategic customer relationships to ensure sustainable growth and a competitive edge in the dynamic Public Sector and NGO segments.
The Regional Sales Manager must rigorously drive and enforce these objectives across the province, ensuring consistent and frequent visits to NGOs and Public Enterprises. Additionally, they will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver localized support, enforce adherence to sales protocols, and ensuring focused on growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.

 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
 
•    Accelerating Revenue Growth: Implement targeted initiatives to consistently surpass sales targets, maximize margins, and secure new business opportunities.
•    Market Penetration & Expansion: Enforce proactive market engagement strategies to deepen presence within existing accounts and unlock new segments, ensuring continuous growth.
•    Customer Retention & Satisfaction: Develop and uphold high standards of customer service, fostering long-term loyalty through tailored solutions, regular engagement, and value-driven relationships.
•    Innovative Offerings: Collaborate with internal teams to design and enforce new offers and services tailored specifically for NGOs to meet evolving needs and enhance competitiveness.

 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

•    Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement and proven success working within NGO and Public Enterprise environments.
•    Innovative thinker with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies in highly competitive markets.
•    Solid knowledge of fixed, mobile, and converged telecommunications solutions, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

•    Relevant work experience in the Telecommunications or IT industry.
•    Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
•    University degree or equivalent qualification.
•    Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
