Purpose of Job

Conduct and manage all day to day Well Integrity activities as necessary, support the Senior Well Integrity Engineer and as requested by the Principal Specialist Well Services, Testing and Integrity

Key Accountabilities

• Manage and supervise the Well Services and Integrity Artisan crew, support recruiting of new members, make sure they work safe and have safe working environments (vehicles, tools, equipment, PPE, etc.);

• Provide planning and management support to all Well Integrity Interventions like slickline, annulus top-up, well testing, electric line, rig-less plug and abandonments etc. activities;

• Assurance of the safety and the continued integrity of all wells at any time within its production, suspension and abandonment life cycle;

• Coordinate and plan the bi-annual Function Testing of well architecture and annual Well Integrity Testing of well architecture;

• Actively support the trouble shooting of malfunctioning well equipment in particular TR-SCSSVs, SSVs, chokes, gate valves and well instrumentation;

• Understand and strictly comply to the GSO Barrier Philosophy and the ISO 16530-1 and -2 Well Integrity;

• Managing the MOEMS team and support the repairing, redressing and recertifying of used gate and choke valves as well as keeping the stock up to date;

• Write daily, weekly and monthly reports on all Well Integrity, Well Services and Well Integrity activities;

• Plan and manage Annulus Management (MAASP, MAWOP, NOL, tubular limitations, fluid compositions, etc.);

• Keep a Well Services and Integrity tools and equipment inventory and keep it up to date;

• Plan and manage shift handovers;

• Supporting the Senior Well Integrity Engineer and the whole Well Services, and Well Integrity Department upon request;

• Keep all measuring devices (gas detectors, pressure gauges, etc.) maintained and calibrated and organise the purchase of new units;

• Closely collaborate with the Wells, Production, Instrumentation, Maintenance, Drilling, Completion and Well Testing Teams;

• Attend the daily assurance meeting on behalf of Well Services and Integrity.

Formal Education

University Bachelors Degree in Engineering: Electrical or Engineering: Mechanical

Working Experience

Experience: 6+ relevant years in Engineering: Petroleum or Mining
