Traffic Management:
• Direct and manage the safe movement of vehicles, trailers, and equipment within the yard.
• Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas and maintain clear access routes.
• Coordinate the safe entry and exit of vehicles to and from the site.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and staff to minimize delays and avoid accidents.

Health & Safety Compliance:
• Monitor yard activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety checks to identify potential hazards or risks.
• Enforce the use of proper safety gear and equipment by yard personnel and visitors.
• Report any accidents or unsafe activities to the Yard Supervisor or Safety Officer.

Inventory & Stock Management:
• Oversee the movement and storage of materials and products within the yard.
• Ensure all items are correctly labeled, stored, and accessible.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
• Maintain records of inventory levels, items in transit, and other essential yard activities.

Equipment Handling:
• Safely operate yard equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and trolleys.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any faults or issues.
• Provide assistance to the loading and unloading process as required.

Communication:
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, drivers, and supervisors.
• Provide directions to truck drivers and warehouse staff, ensuring smooth operations.
• Handle customer inquiries and report any delays or issues promptly.

Documentation:
• Complete necessary paperwork related to yard operations (e.g., delivery logs, inventory records).
• Update yard management systems with relevant information on movements and stock levels.

General Yard Operations:
• Keep the yard organized, tidy, and free from hazards.
• Assist with regular maintenance of yard equipment and facilities.
• Help with the preparation of shipments and delivery schedules.
