We are seeking four (4) highly skilled Hydraulic Crane Operators to support construction and lifting operations at the Afungi LNG site. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating mobile hydraulic cranes to lift, move, and position heavy machinery, structural steel, and materials with absolute precision. This role requires a safety-first mindset and the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced industrial environment.
Funções
  • Safe Operation: Operate hydraulic mobile cranes (varying capacities) in accordance with manufacturer specifications and site safety protocols
  • Inspections: Perform daily pre-operational inspections, check fluid levels, and ensure all safety devices (LMI/Anti-Two Block) are functional
  • Lift Planning: Interpret load charts, calculate crane capacities, and determine the weight of loads to ensure every lift is within safe operating limits
  • Rigging Collaboration: Work closely with riggers and banksmen, following standard hand signals or radio communication to ensure safe movement of loads
  • Site Awareness: Assess ground conditions (mats/outriggers) and monitor environmental factors like wind speed and overhead hazards
  • Maintenance: Report any mechanical defects or maintenance requirements to the plant department immediately
Requisitos
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of documented experience as a Hydraulic Crane Operator, specifically within the Oil & Gas or Heavy Construction sectors
  • Certification: Must possess a valid Third-Party Certification (e.g., TUV, Bureau Veritas, or equivalent international lifting authority)
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading load charts and utilizing Load Moment Indicators (LMI)
  • Language: Basic English proficiency is preferred for safety communication; Portuguese is an advantage
