The Transportation Officer is responsible for coordinating the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies to operational sites. The role ensures compliance with transportation regulations, company safety standards, and project schedules.
Funções
- Coordinate transportation services for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Schedule and monitor vehicle movements to operational sites and camps
- Manage transportation requests and route planning
- Ensure vehicles are maintained, inspected, and compliant with company standards
- Monitor driver performance and compliance with road safety regulations
- Maintain transportation records, fuel consumption reports, and vehicle utilization data
- Coordinate emergency transportation requirements when needed
- Support logistics operations related to material deliveries and equipment mobilization
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and transportation procedures
- Investigate transportation incidents and prepare reports
Requisitos
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Defensive driving or fleet management certification is advantageous
- Minimum 3 years of transportation or logistics coordination experience
- Experience supporting Oil & Gas, Mining, or large infrastructure projects preferred
- Fleet management systems
- Route planning and logistics coordination
- Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of transport regulations and HSE requirements
