Funções
- Implement, monitor, and enforce the company’s HSE policies, procedures, and management systems
- Conduct routine workplace inspections to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and environmental hazards
- Perform Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analyses, and recommend appropriate control measures
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental events, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Develop and deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, training sessions, and awareness campaigns
- Ensure the proper use, inspection, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Monitor compliance with safe work procedures, Permit-to-Work systems, and other operational safety requirements
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role
- Experience in construction, mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments is highly desirable
- NEBOSH International General Certificate
- IOSH Managing Safely
- SAMTRAC
- First Aid Certification
- Fire Fighting and Emergency Response Training
- Incident Investigation Training
- Internal Auditor Certification for ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001
