Our client in Maputo is looking for a Hydraulic Crane Operator to join their team within the Mining Sector.
Responsibilities
- Control levers and pedals to lift, position, and transport heavy loads with precision.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on hydraulic systems, cables, brakes, and safety devices.
- Calculate lifting capacities, angles, and weight limits to prevent tipping or overloading.
- Use standard hand signals or radios to coordinate movements with signalpersons and ground teams.
- Handle routine servicing like lubrication and report major mechanical faults promptly.
Requirements
- Valid crane operator license or certification (such as NCCCO or local equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of verified crane operating experience in construction, mining, or industrial settings.
- Strong depth perception, hand-eye coordination, and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to pass medical/drug checks, work at heights, and adhere to strict safety regulations.
