Job Title: Assets Equipment Inspector

Location: Afungi camp, Mozambique

Job Description:

Mission:

• Ensure planning, maintenance and upgrade of the Onshore equipment present in the job sites, plants and maintenance bases, through the maintenance teams, ensuring full compliance with projects schedules, job costs, quality and safety standards
• Ensure purchase or rental for missing equipment following the planning activities

Tasks:

With regard to the equipment under own responsibility:

• Define the planning of the equipment in coordination with Project/Bid proposal team: review of project request proposing alternative solution in way to optimize the Saipem Fleet utilization
• Define possible purchase or rental of missing equipment
• Define technical specifications indispensable to issue purchase or rental request
• Follow the purchasing request until final test
• Prepare reports highlighting needs for investments/disinvestments, managing the proposals for alienation in line with directives received
• Collect and entry information in order to update the database of the equipment
• Coordinate the repairs in case of serious breakdown
• Coordinate and supervise the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance to ensure the full efficiency of the equipment
• Manage and supervise the equipment in coordination with project team
• Ensure technical support to the project for the implementation of the maintenance and the corrective actions to be implemented to solve the daily technical problems, within the assigned budgets
• Ensure technical support to fulfill project needs in the rental market
• Ensure availability of data/info necessary to prepare the technical proposal in support to the commercial activity of the Business Unit
• Coordinate with BU in the definition of new design equipment to implement the fleet and new investment preparation of budgets and cost monitoring of ordinary/extraordinary maintenance, including estimated costs of repair and budget of restoration of the equipment after demob
• Prepare budgets and cost monitoring of investments
• Execute audit for inspection and ensure the co-ordination with persons in charge of routine and special maintenance activities
