A Business Manager will provide critical support to the leadership team, ensuring that strategy execution, business planning, and governance are efficiently managed. This role will free up executive time by managing the day-to-day complexities of running the business, while also ensuring consistent delivery, oversight, and follow-through on key priorities.
Job Description
- Support the development and execution of strategic plans, annual budgets, and business performance frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across multiple departments, facilitating collaboration, tracking progress, and providing timely reporting and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality executive communications, including business performance updates, board papers, presentations, briefing materials, and management reports to support informed decision-making.
- Lead the planning, coordination, governance, and follow-up of Tier 1 management forums and executive meetings, ensuring effective agenda management, action tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for matters relating to COO data, acting as a liaison between executives, employees, clients, and external partners to ensure accurate communication and information flow.
- Extract, validate, interrogate, and analyze complex datasets from multiple sources, transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Support the implementation and delivery of key COO strategic projects and transformation initiatives, monitoring milestones, identifying risks, and ensuring successful execution against agreed objectives.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that provide visibility into business performance, operational efficiency, and strategic outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, reporting capabilities, governance structures, and data quality across the COO function.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, confidentiality, and integrity of business information and reporting, adhering to organizational governance, compliance, and data management standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and enabling the successful delivery of business priorities and strategic objectives.
- Provide analytical, operational, and administrative support to the COO, enabling effective prioritization, decision-making, and execution of critical business initiatives.
