Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of the workforce, including employee details, positions, departments, and work locations.
  • Monitor daily attendance, absenteeism, leave, overtime, and working hours.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly labour and workforce reports.
  • Maintain accurate headcount records and monitor workforce movements, including mobilization and demobilization.
  • Verify timesheets and attendance records before submission for payroll processing.
  • Track overtime and ensure that working hours are properly recorded and authorized.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee and labour documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR and site/project teams regarding workforce requirements and changes.
  • Monitor staff movements between departments, sites, shifts, or project areas.
  • Support the preparation of manpower forecasts and workforce planning reports.
  • Identify discrepancies in attendance, timesheets, headcount, or employee records and follow up for resolution.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information.
  • Prepare labour-related reports and provide accurate workforce data to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable labour requirements.
  • Support HR with other administrative and workforce-related activities when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Relations, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Labour Control, HR Administration, Workforce Management, or a similar position.
  • Previous experience in construction, mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, or large-scale projects is an advantage.
  • Experience managing attendance, timesheets, overtime, headcount, and workforce records.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Good command of English and Portuguese is an advantage.
