Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify funding opportunities and develop strategic partnerships to support the Organization’s objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with donors, government institutions, development banks, foundations, private sector organizations, and international development partners.
- Represent the Organization in negotiations and strategic discussions with potential and existing partners.
- Strengthen the Organization’s positioning and visibility among funding institutions and development partners.
- Contribute to the design and development of projects aligned with the Organization’s strategic priorities.
- Prepare and support the development of concept notes, technical proposals, business plans, and funding applications.
- Develop logical frameworks, theories of change, performance indicators, and impact pathways.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, International Development, Agriculture, Environmental Studies, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in resource mobilization, partnership development, and funding proposal preparation.
- Strong knowledge of Mozambique’s development context, government structures, and public policies.
- Proven experience working with government institutions, bilateral and multilateral donors, development banks, climate funds, international foundations, and the private sector.
- Experience in project design, logical frameworks, budgeting, and results-based management.
- Knowledge of sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, climate resilience, biodiversity, and community development.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
