WE’RE HIRING: Security Guards (Warehouse / Yard)

About the Position

Huretek is recruiting reliable and disciplined Security Guards on behalf of its client in Pemba.

The successful candidates will be responsible for protecting the client’s warehouse and yard, including the people, goods, equipment and vehicles on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control access to and from the site, including staff, visitors, trucks and other vehicles.

  • Patrol the warehouse, yard and perimeter during both day and night shifts.

  • Prevent theft, damage and unauthorized removal of goods and equipment.

  • Identify and report suspicious activities, security breaches and safety hazards.

  • Complete daily occurrence reports and ensure clear handovers at each shift change.

  • Comply with the client’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) rules and emergency procedures.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Security Guard. Experience in warehouses, yards, ports or industrial sites is preferred.

  • Reference letters or certificates demonstrating previous work experience.

  • A valid criminal record certificate (Registo Criminal) showing no criminal record.

  • Security guard training certificate is an advantage.

  • Physically fit and available to work rotating day and night shifts.

  • Honest, disciplined and reliable.

  • Ability to read and write in Portuguese. Basic English is an advantage.

  • Candidates from Pemba or Cabo Delgado are preferred.
