WE ARE HIRING | GROUP LOGISTICS MANAGER
Location: Based in Mozambique (Beira / Maputo)
Regional responsibility: Covering Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Namibia
Employment Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and centralize the Group’s end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations, from shipment readiness confirmation through to container return and final cost closure.
- Manage logistics activities across Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
- Develop and maintain freight rate matrices, evaluate shipping methods, and optimize routes, ports, and logistics partners for maximum cost efficiency.
- Oversee customs documentation, compliance requirements, tariff classifications, and import/export processes.
- Control demurrage costs, transit delays, and operational risks.
- Drive logistics reporting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of logistics systems and technologies.
Skills
- Strong experience in international logistics, freight management, and supply chain operations.
- Sound knowledge of customs regulations, shipping documentation, and compliance processes.
- Proven ability to negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
- Strong analytical and cost-management skills.
- Ability to manage logistics operations across multiple Southern African markets.
