Our client in Cabo Delgado is looking for Instrumentation Technician to join their team within the Mining Sector.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and managerial leadership for the control room and projects, including resource planning.
- Monitor operations and project performance.
- Manage scheduling and coordination activities.
- Supervise control room operations and related activities.
- Monitor, control, and resolve bottlenecks related to Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I).
- Support project proposals, estimate man-hours, and assist the department manager with training, resource development, and quality assurance activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Control Systems Engineering.
- Extensive experience in Instrumentation Engineering and Design for Processing Plants, Oil & Gas Facilities, Refineries, and Chemical/Petrochemical/Fertilizer Plants.
- Proven experience as a Team Leader on at least 4 projects managing teams of 10+ members.
- Strong knowledge of national and international electrical codes and standards.
- Hands-on experience preparing specifications for instrumentation systems and equipment, including:
- DCS, ESD, PLC, and SCADA systems
- Anti-Surge Control Systems
- Tank Gauging Systems
