The key purpose of this role is to Performs Inspection and Coding optimisation /approved modifications of process control & electrical systems. Supports the installations of process control & relevant electrical systems. Maintain, calibrate, repair equipment, optimise plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Safety, Health, and Environmental Compliance

  • Comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures and applicable legislation.

  • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

  • Identify unsafe practices through Safety Interaction Observations (SIOs).

  • Conduct safety inspections.

  • Audit safe maintenance practices.

  • Ensure adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies.

  • Ensure maintenance tools are in good working order.

 Maintenance and Operations

  • Locate plant, equipment, spare parts, and relevant documentation and/or systems.

  • Plan and prepare maintenance tasks.

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance activities.

  • Operate workshop equipment.

 

Teamwork and Development

  • Communicate effectively within teams.

  • Contribute to personal and team development.

 

Performance and Service Delivery

  • Manage backlog effectively.

  • Generate tags for follow-on work.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction with zero rework.

Key Attributes and Competencies:

  • Technical high school qualification in Electronic and Electricity.

  • Proficiency in computer use at user level.

  • Acceptable level of English proficiency.

  • Efficient, communicative, dynamic, and with a strong sense of responsibility.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Technical high school qualification in Electronic or Electricity.

  • 1-3 Years technical maintenance and bottling experience in a FMCG environment.
