Position: IT Support Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-demand technical support and resolve issues within defined SLA timelines
- Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability
- Work closely with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues
- Support and monitor API integrations
- Troubleshoot API errors, authentication failures, and integration issues
- Assist in testing and validating new system features and deployments
- Automate repetitive operational and support tasks where possible
- Perform minor software development and scripting tasks as assigned
- Escalate critical incidents and ensure timely resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or related technologies)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing tools such as Postman
- Experience with MySQL and database management systems
- Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues for technical and non-technical users
- Knowledge of system monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independentl
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
