Our client in Maputo is looking for a Parts Sales Representative to join their team within the Mining Sector.

Responsibilities 

  • Identify, promote, and sell genuine CAT parts and components to existing and prospective customers.
  • Accurately identify parts using Caterpillar electronic parts catalogs (SIS), equipment model numbers, and serial numbers.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and commercial conditions in accordance with company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.
  • Provide customers with basic technical advice regarding part selection, compatibility, and application.
  • Generate new business opportunities through market prospecting, customer visits, and networking.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in parts sales for heavy equipment, construction machinery, mining equipment, or the automotive industry.
  • Experience selling Caterpillar (CAT) parts is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in customer service or technical sales environments.
  • High School Certificate with a Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Commercial Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Additional training in sales or Caterpillar products will be considered an advantage.
