Our client in Cabo delgado is looking for Assistant Contracts Manager to join their team within the Mining Sector.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation, review, and administration of contracts (EPC, service, supply, and consultancy agreements).
  • Assist in contract negotiations with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Track contract milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support claims management, variation orders, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all contract-related activities.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement, legal, finance, and operations teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in contract administration or commercial roles
  • Experience in mining, construction, or oil & gas sectors (highly preferred)
  • Exposure to high-value contracts and multi-site operations
  • Strong understanding of contract compliance and risk management
